Kathleen has embraced the new digital age in her works by using Canon cameras and Lensbaby products as well as Canon prime lenses.  She has opened the door to creative lenses and has let the lens and camera do their job for in-camera processing and creative zen so to speak.

Earlier on in life, she was caught by the bug while watching her brother process in darkroom scenarios.  Later, she met photographer, Edmund Teske through work in the 1980s.  She credits the inspiration of her images to his inspiring words said to her and to viewing his photographs. Both her brother and Mr. Teske are no longer with us and every now and then she hears their  'whispers' while she creates.
